Located in Millinocket, Maine the Appalachian Trail Lodge is a family home that was originally constructed in 1902 as a boarding house and has hosted Appalachian Trail hikers since 1988. The tradition continues under the new ownership of a Paul (Ole Man) & Jaime (NaviGator) Renaud.

During the summer, the lodge serves as both a starting and ending point for hikers on the Appalachian Trail. Whether you are just beginning your Appalachian Trail hike or have traveled more than 2000 miles to get here, the Appalachian Trail Lodge and its staff is here to serve you. We offer shuttle services, mail drops and support for thru-hikers. In the winter, the lodge is perfect for those hearty individuals who come to the area for cross country skiing or snowshoeing. The Appalachian Trail Lodge is a great base camp to enjoy the Katahdin Region from, no matter what the season.
